Gangway Fabrication
The team has been designing and constructing a 18m gangway carrying water pipes and pumps. To assist with the heating and cooling of Brisbane square. A technically challenging job with limited overhead access underneath the riverside freeways.
Reservoir Cleaning
Potable water reservoir cleaning and inspection for Townsville council. Our specialist dive teams cleaned and potable dedicated equipment undertook 19 reservoir cleans to maintain healthy and clean water supply to councils network.
Steel Degradation
Steel pipe strengthening in lautka port fiji. Dive teams cleaned and inspected piles for steel degradation. Rolled 10mm steel patches where then welded in to position over the corroded sections. Providing structural strength and many more years of functional port operations.
Remediation
Remediation and upgrade of concrete piles at Southbank boardwalk along Brisbane river. Increasing strength and longevity. using divers, barges and excavators to complete.
Pontoon
We provide a floating pontoon work platform, boat and knowledgeable Skipper to provide access to TMR inspectors to fly their drone to inspect the underside of bridges. The benefit of this method is that no interruption or lane closures to the roads while a comprehensive inspection is undertaken and a fraction of the cost of underbridge inspection trucks.
Bridges
We have been selected to send out dive teams to preform level 2 inspections of 30 road bridges and culverts across the Sunshine Coast to check condition of the concrete and steel piles as part of the scheduled inspections in to the condition of the states bridge assets. 1200 piles will be inspected over 4 months. Thorough condition reports provided to TMR with methods and costings for repairs.
Cabbage Tree Creek
At HARCAN Marine, we shine in complex marine projects, like our Cabbage Tree Creek bridge inspection and testing. Our team deployed multiple work vessels to clean and inspect the bridge’s concrete headstocks, where our skilled surface team conducted precise core sampling and expertly repaired the core sample holes to maintain structural integrity.
Wonder Reef
At HARCAN Marine, we’re proud to maintain the Gold Coast City Council’s Wonder Reef, a premier recreational dive attraction two kilometers off Surfers Paradise. Our skilled dive team, who call this their favorite job, meticulously cleans and inspects the chains that keep the underwater structures buoyant, measuring them to millimeter precision to monitor wear, while also servicing the navigational aids and mooring buoys that allow recreational and commercial boats to safely moor to the structure.
